When Anmol Qaiser joined Cavendish, part of the Movera brand, in May 2025, she saw the paralegal role as more than a job — it was the next step toward her ambition of becoming a solicitor.
Since then, Anmol has quickly grown in confidence, taking on more responsibility and becoming increasingly involved in the legal side of transactions. What began with foundational administrative tasks has progressed into leading freehold matters, allowing her to deepen her legal knowledge and manage files independently. A strong working relationship with her manager has been central to that development.
Each morning starts with a structured review of priorities, setting a clear plan for the day. “We go through our inbox and to‑do list every morning and decide what to prioritise,” she explains. “There’s constant communication throughout the day, and I always feel supported.”
That support has helped her build both capability and confidence. Whether working from home or in the office, she values the accessibility of guidance often using screen sharing to work through challenges in real time. It’s an environment where learning is continuous and encouraged.
Movera’s tools and training resources have also played a key role. Through Movera Academy, Anmol has taken the initiative to expand her knowledge beyond day‑to‑day tasks. “There are so many online resources available. I recently completed a course on leasehold contracts, which has really helped me understand leasehold transactions better. It means I can learn independently, so my manager doesn’t need to walk me through every detail. Taking that initiative really builds confidence.”
One of the most rewarding parts of her role has been receiving direct recognition from clients. “When I see my name in a review, it feels really encouraging. Getting recognition for the work I’ve put in is motivating — it makes a huge difference.”
That sense of ownership has strengthened her connection to the work and reinforced her drive to keep improving. Conveyancing, she says, is fast paced and demanding, but deeply rewarding. “There’s a rush to it. You’re managing expectations of all parties. But when you complete a case, it’s worth it. Clients can be so grateful for the extra mile we put in.”
Flexibility has also shaped her experience at Cavendish. With a long commute, the hybrid working model has made a meaningful difference to her wellbeing and productivity. “It’s a dream come true. You save time, you have more energy, and you can use that time to improve yourself. This is a company that cares about you as a person, not just the work you do.”
For anyone considering a role in conveyancing, Anmol’s advice is simple: “It’s a fast paced industry, but the tools to learn are there. Do your research, stay organised, and don’t be afraid to ask questions.”
With clear direction, a strong work ethic, and the support around her, Anmol is building a solid foundation for her future in property law — one step at a time.
